Personalised medicine is considered to be a major trend in the development of biomedical sciences and healthcare worldwide. To advance the development of personalised medicine in Lithuania, we finance research projects in personalised medicine.

The aim is to provide Lithuanian researchers with additional opportunities to become involved in personalised medicine research.

Personalised medicine as a model of individualised healthcare, which is implemented by selecting the appropriate medications and doses to treat the disease based on the knowledge of the genotype and phenotype of the patient and the molecular profile of the disease (mutations, changes in biomolecule levels, etc.).

With this aim as our focus, we are ready to assess project proposals submitted for funding in a prompt and impartial manner, based on clearly defined and publicly announced criteria. Transparency and accountability help us eliminate potential conflicts of interest.
